Cable & Wireless Launches New and Improved Customer Services Charter Cable & Wireless, in its latest bid to further improve services and raise standards, will be issuing its new and improved service charter to all customers region wide from Friday 13th October. The company guarantees that where service is available, residential lines will now be installed within 15 working days from the time the application is made. Faults will be repaired within 12 working hours. If the service is not delivered within the agreed time, customers will be entitled to a refund. The company gives the assurance that when a service is applied for it will be delivered within a given time frame. If the service is not delivered on time, the installation fee will be refunded to the customer. In cases where no installation fee applies, the customer will receive the first month's rental. Cable & Wireless Cayman Islands General Manager Timothy Adam said "Two years ago when we introduced the charter, we were among the first companies in the region to do so. Since then, we have strived to continually improve the level of service that we provide, and have dramatically reduced the time it takes to repair faults and install lines. " In addition, business units across the region are monitored on a monthly basis to ensure that service levels and standards are maintained. Mr. Adam continued "We believe our customers will be pleasantly surprised when they experience our new standards and we encourage them to give us their feedback. If we don't deliver on our promises we want our customers to let us know." On Friday, October 13, customers can pick up and review copies of the new Customer Services Charter brochure at the Anderson Square offices. In honour of the launch of the Customer Services Charter, light refreshments will be available to customers at that location. Following the launch, the new Customer Services Charter brochure will be mailed to all customers, and copies will also be available at all Cable & Wireless customer service centers.
