Promotions at Cable & Wireless
Cable & Wireless (C&W) has announced that Bruce Pendergast has been named Employee of the Month for August 2000. This is the second time he has been honored with the award, a C&W press release said, having also won in October, 1999. He joined C& W on 1st November 1989 as a trainee serviceman and has successfully worked his way up to the position of residential sales representative, a C&W press release said.
Bruce was recognized for his dedication, initiative and commitment o the SmartChoice promotion. He attended a three day session in St Lucia and upon his return, organized a team that became No. 1 in the C& W region in the Caribbean.
In presenting Bruce with the award, C&W General Manager Mr. Tim Adam said "Bruce's role in coordinating the efforts and managing the process of ensuring applications were processed in two working days, maintaining adequate stock and inventory handling customer enquiries and sales training among others demonstrates a valuable employee."
