New Charter for C&W customers launched today
Cable & Wireless, in its latest bid to improve services and raise standards, is today issuing a new service charter to all customers in the region. The company guarantees that where service is available, residential lines, for example, will now be installed within 15 working days from the time the application is made. Faults will be repaired within 12 working hours. If the service is not delivered within the agreed timeframe, customers will be entitled to a refund.
The new charter assures C&W business and residential clients that when any service is applied form it will be delivered within a set timeframe, If the service is not delivered on time the installation fee will be refunded to the customers. In cases where no installation fee applies, the customer will receive the first month's rental free, said a press release from C&W.
Timothy Adam, head of C&W in the Cayman Islands, commented:" Two years ago when we introduced the charter,we sere among the first companies in the region to do so. "Since then,we have striven to continually improve the level of service that we provide, and have dramatically reduced the time it takes to repair faults and install lines." He noted that businesses across the region are monitored on a monthly basis to ensure that service levels and standards are maintained.
"We believe our customers will be pleasantly surprised when they experience our new standards", he continued, "and we encourage them to give us their feedback. If we don't deliver on our promises we want our customers to let us know." Customers can pick up and review copies of the new charter brochure at C&As Anderson Square offices where, in honor of the launch light refreshments will be available today. Following today's launch, the new customer services charter brochure will be mailed to all customers, and copies will also be available at all C&W customer service centers.
