Cable & Wireless announces price reduction on Mobiles

Cable & Wireless has announced a 50 percent reduction on the price of mobile phones, and a chance for new customers to win CI$500.

During April and May 2000, Cable & Wireless will offer new customers a 50 percent discount on the very popular Nokia 5120 and 6120 phones.Additionally, new customers registering for service under this promotion will pay no service charge for the first month of service.

In the first ever region-wide mobile promotion ("Mobile Moments"), customers can win a cash prize of CI$500. Eight new customers in the Cayman Islands will have a chance to win this cash prize.

The initiative is part of continued efforts by Cable & Wireless to provide high quality and affordable mobile phone service in the Caribbean.

Customers may visit their local Cable & Wireless Mobile Retail store or Customer Service Centre for details of the special offer and to select their mobile phone, register for service and have a chance to win a cash prize.

Cable & Wireless "Mobile Moments" offer is available in Anguilla, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, and Turks & Caicos Islands, a company press release said.(C&W)
