C&W Mobile Promotion Cable & Wireless (C&W) has announced the promotion of Mrs. Sue Buckeridge to Head of Department Mobile, a C&W press release said. Mrs. Buckeridge joined C&W in September 1979 as a Customer Service Accounts Clerk. Over her 21 years with C&W she has held a number of different positions including Accounts Query Clerk, Publicity Officer, Supervisor of Service Support, Sales Representative, Supervisor of Phone and Fax center, Credit and Billing Manager and Mobile Customer Service Manager. She was appointed Head of Department effective 13 April 2000. "I like challenge and I am self motivated," Sue says of her career, She has liked all her positions so far at C&W They have provided her with the ability to achieve and exceed expectations. She says she sets high standards for herself and focuses on flexibility and commitment to each position, Sue sees the customer as the most important factor in everything she does. Mrs. Buckeridge's very first job gave her excellent insight into customer service which added to her career development at C&W. "Cable and Wireless offers the opportunity for each employee to excel and looks after its employees. C&W is committed to providing high quality service to the people of this Country', says Sue, "and I am proud to be a part of this quality service." Mrs. Buckeridge hold an Accounting Technician Qualification from Atlantic Union College. She will receive her Bachelors in Business Administration from Atlantic Union College in December. Sue is married to Ludlow Buckeridge and has two children, Leon, age 14 and Kristina age 10. Cable & Wireless continues its direction to hire and promote qualified Caymanian employees wherever possible said the release.
