Young Caymanian leadership award - nominations sought

Do you know a young Caymanian aged between 20 and 35 who you think could be a role model for the younger generation?

If you do, then now is the time to nominate them for the Young Caymanian leadership Awards 2001.

The Awards are in their second year and are sponsored by the Young Caymanian Leaders Foundation.

The mission of the nonprofit organization is to recognize and foster development of leadership qualities of young Caymanians.

Anyone can nominate a Caymanian of their choice.

Nominees must be between 20 and 35 and have "demonstrated strong leadership qualities through their personal as well as professional accomplishments."

Last year's winner was Maples and Calder attorney, Mr. Olicaire Walter. Proceeds from the ceremony went to the Drugs Task Force.

Nomination forms can be picked up a the Television Centre, Cable & Wireless, Foster's Food fair and Texaco.
