Pay As You Go Customer Event on Saturday
You could win a Nokia mobile phone!

The new Pay As You Go prepaid mobile service will be the focus of an exciting customer event being held at the Royal Palms this Saturday, July 8.

Starting at 10 a.m. and continuing until 4 p.m., customers will have the chance to sign up for the new Pay As You Go service at the discounted price of $199 - which includes a Nokia 5120 mobile phone and a $40 prepaid card. The regular price is $225. Each new customer to sign up at the event will receive a free Pay As You Go T-shirt.

Additionally, all those who attend the Pay As You Go party will be eligible to enter a raffle to win one of six Nokia mobile phones. There will also be special surprise prizes given out every half hour throughout the event from Nokia and Cable & Wireless.

Activities are planned for children including face painting and a bouncing castle. A live DJ will be on hand, Z-99 will be broadcasting live, and refreshments will be served.

Cable & Wireless Public Relations Manager Andrea Fa'amoe said: "We hope customers will come out to take advantage of this great deal on the exciting Pay As You Go service. Not only can they sign up for prepaid mobile service with no credit check, deposit or signed contract, but they will also receive a discount on the price of the starter package and have a chance to win prizes."

She continued: "We've planned an entertaining day at the beach for the whole family, and look forward to seeing Cayman turn out to have fun and learn more about this new service."

Pay As You Go prepaid mobile is a card-based system that allows customers to purchase a card of a specific value based on the amount of calls they wish to make or receive.

The pre-paid service is a convenient alternative to post-paid mobile service, which requires a credit check, deposit, and signed contract. Pay As You Go customers will not have to pay a deposit, there will be no credit checks and no signed contracts. It is pre-paid service with no monthly bill.

To use the Pay As You Go service, customers will scratch the back of the card to reveal their own unique code, which is then loaded onto the mobile phone. Customers can then purchase additional cards of their desired value to continue service when the value of the previous card runs out."
