New PR Manager for C&W

Ms. Andrea Fa'amoe has been named the new Public Relations Manager for Cable & Wireless, Cayman Islands.

A Caymanian who started her career with the Cayman Islands Government, Tina has now moved into the private sector.

Tina's background is in the public relations field, which is supported in her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Loyola University in Chicago. Academic scholarships from the Education Council and CIBC Bank & Trust funded her college education.

Since graduating from university, Tina returned home to job with Government Information Services as an Information Officer, attached to the Ministry of Community Affairs, Sports, Women, Youth, and Culture.

After working in that position, she transferred to the National Drug Council as their Public Information Manager.

In a C&W press release, she said she found this position to be very challenging, interesting and rewarding and she felt she needed more growth in her career.

After transferring back to Government Information Services for a time, she took up her current position at Cable & Wireless.Ê She is enthusiastic about her new role at Cable & Wireless, and notes that her job has many challenges - one of which is to live up to the example set in Cable & Wireless public relations by her predecessor, Mrs. Rhonda Kelly.

"I have always wanted to work with Cable & Wireless," she said.

The proud mother of 5-year-old son Nathan, Tina is the daughter of Mary and Michael Trumbach of Lower Valley. Ê Ê
