Web Fun Day, 'Jump
and Click', tomorrow
The
biggest live Web event of its kind ever held in the Caribbean comes Cayman's
way tomorrow (Saturday).
From the
main stage event which takes place in Barbados, eight islands, including
Cayman, will be able to link together to see live performances from Square
One, interviews with West Indies cricket stars Sherwin Campbell and Franklyn
Rose and share live action from the St. Lucia Jazz Festival.
Cable &
Wireless are hosting the "Jump and Click" event, which is being held on
Grand Cayman at the Westin Hotel from noon until 6pm and on Cayman Brac
at the District Administration Building car park.
According
to a Cable & Wireless press release, those attending will have the chance
to win free Internet service for a year.
New customers
who sign up for any one of the Internet packages will receive two weeks
free Internet service and have their $35 installation fee waived.
New customers
will also receive a free Internet starter pack as well as giveaways.
Existing
customers who refer a new Internet customer to sign up at "Jump and Click"
will receive five hours free Internet use for each person they refer.
In addition,
paramount Computers will be on hand offering Internet customers special
deals on computers.
